    Hey everybody - It's a beautiful day! I'm still giddy from last night.

    Regina, growing up we used to joke about how there would never be a Black president and I'm so happy that we were all wrong about that. This is a historic day for the ages.

    Boo and Angie - How are y'all feeling? Yes we DID!!

    Obama didn't carry Texas but the down ticket affect was huge. A near sweep in county wide positions for the Democrats in Harris Co., and a narrowed Repub. majority in the Texas statehouse. The next election cycle might actually turn this state blue. Can you imagine?

    Still at a loss for words...a few days ago I received a phone call from the Obama campaign regarding a donation I made back in January. They called me in Japan to confirm that I was an American citizen. Guess it was after all the stink the republican side made...

    The one thing I thought was rather tasteless was the McPalin supporters booing at the mention of President-Elect Obama's name during McCain's concession speech. 'Poor loser' is too good a label for them! As a matter of fact, after surviving abroad for the past 8 years under Bush, I consider us all WINNERS from January 20th, 2009.
